Really, it’s ok.
It’s ok to feel guilty sometimes about the mistakes you have made.
It’s ok to feel sad when things don’t go the way you hoped.
It’s ok to feel fear when you are stepping into the unknown.
It’s ok to feel bad when you are not able to wake up early as you planned.
It’s ok to not feel motivated some days.
It’s ok to not feel inspired all the time.
It’s ok to cry when you need to.
It’s ok to smile when you feel afraid to live.
It’s ok to laugh when you have a feeling of losing yourself.
It’s ok to have doubts.
It’s ok to not meet all the expectations all the time.
It’s ok to not be the “PERFECT” kid for your parents.
It’s ok to feel anxious in times when things seem to be going well.
It’s ok to lose yourself for a few moments.
It’s ok to feel regret for some decisions.
And it’s ok to choose yourself before others when it comes to saving your energy.
Yes, ‘IT IS ABSOLUTELY OK‘ to feel the way you feel.
But here’s what’s not ok:
It’s not ok to suppress your feelings or pretend they don’t exist.
It’s not ok to ignore what your heart is trying to tell you; avoidance only makes things harder over time.
It’s not ok to judge yourself harshly for being human.
It’s not ok to let guilt, sadness, or fear define your journey.
Don’t ignore your feelings or the situation, as that will only make things worse as time passes.
Instead, validate those feelings and try to find the cause of that feeling; try to find why you feel the way you are feeling at that moment.
Take your time (as much as you need), be patient (with yourself), and with enough effort, I am sure you’ll uncover the ‘WHY.’
Once you know the reason, then you just need to do some small changes ‘ONE AT A TIME’.
Remember, you don’t have to have it all figured out at once. You’re allowed to feel, to stumble, and to grow at your own pace.
You’re human, and that’s perfectly ok.
