Opportunity comes not once, but more than once.
Whether you are looking for new job, new opportunity, new project to start, or leads for business, even while looking for a partner, you will get opportunities in the form of situations, people who help you, or a person or friend who can be a better fit for you.
But still people lost their opportunity or chance.
Why? Because they are doubtful or can say, I’m not sure about it.
Buddy, you need to be specific about your needs or whatever you want.
The universe will give you whatever you ask for, but you need to be specific and ready to get that.
If you are not ready for your interview, you are not going to get an opportunity, but if you think you are not ready and still get a call for an interview, then the universe thinks that you are ready and you need to do your best.

Like you say, if you don’t have a partner, then improve yourself. Put in some efforts.
You say I don’t have a job, then study hard for the interview and show your work and be visible.
